In November 1970, James Taylor and Carole King first performed together at the Troubadour in West Hollywood. Taylor had just released his debut album, and King was emerging as a solo performer after penning an impressive string of hits for other artists. When they returned a year later, Taylor's "Fire and Rain" had topped the charts and King's landmark LP Tapestry was about to make her a music superstar. Flash forward to November 2007, when Taylor, King, and members of their original band "The Section" returned to celebrate the Troubadour's 50th anniversary. That historic engagement is preserved in this special CD/DVD set. Its 75 minutes of pristine video and audio present stunning performances of the pair's most beloved hits, including King's "So Far Away," "It's Too Late," "You've Got a Friend," "I Feel the Earth Move," "Up on the Roof," and "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow?" as well as Taylor's "Carolina in My Mind," "Sweet Baby James," "Blossom," "Something in the Way She Moves," "You Can Close Your Eyes," and "Fire and Rain."
